Women’s Services Nurse Manager

Great opportunity for a Women’s Services Nurse Manager​​ in the Palm Beach County area of Florida.

Responsibilities of the Women’s Services Nurse Manager​​:  
  • The Manager is responsible for day-to-day provision of care rendered to patients in the department, assists with oversight of daily operations, manages all staff members in the department and works closely with medical staff members. 
  •  Maintains an active role in community education and serves as a resource to the Department.
  • Responsible for the management of the unit’s daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by upper management.
  • Responsible for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accord with corporate, hospital department, and safety policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to and acting liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees. Demonstrates leadership qualities as well as advanced knowledge in nursing practice. 
  • Demonstrates independent judgment and critical thinking skills in overseeing the delivery of patient care.  Possesses the ability to act decisively under general administrative supervision.  Demonstrates advanced clinical competence.
                              
Requirements of the Women’s Services Nurse Manager​:
  •  Current Florida licensure as an RN, or recognized compact licensure subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Must have L& D experience
  • One year nursing experience as a full time Charge or Nursing Administrative, Supervisor preferred.
  •  Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card (BLS).   
  •  Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  •  Current NRP required
