Director of Quality and Risk Management

Location: Kennewick, WA
Great opportunity for a Director of Quality and Risk Management ‚Äčlocated in the Tri-Cities, WA area.

Responsibilities of the Director of Quality and Risk Management:
  • Directs the operational, financial management and personnel resources for Quality Performance, Accreditation / Licensing, Patient Relations, Infection Prevention, Policy and Procedure Process Management, Patient Safety and Risk Management, utilizing an Enterprise/Systems approach.
  • Disseminates information for the enterprise-wide quality program.  Coordinates various certification, patient safety and regulatory programs, via delegation and oversight. 
  • The Director of Quality & Risk Management reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. Participates directly in Leadership, representing the enterprise-wide Quality/Risk Management Department and its associated functions.
  • This position participates in state and national networks, professional organizations, and conferences in the service of promoting healthcare quality within the organization and for the community, on an ongoing basis
Requirements of the Director of Quality and Risk Management:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or RN licensure.  Master’s degree and current RN licensure, Preferred.
  • 5 or more years Quality/Risk Management experience in an acute care hospital-based system at least 3 of which are in a leadership capacity (Manager or above).
  • CPHQ required (or be able to obtain within 18 months of hire).
