Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist/CRNA

Great opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist/CRNA in the southwestern area of Nebraska.

Responsibilities of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist/CRNA
  • Administers anesthesia and anesthesia-related care under the orders of a physician.  
  • Monitors and supports vital life functions.  
  • Acts as the patient's advocate while the patient is under anesthesia.  
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities (CQI).
  • Discusses procedures with patients, administers anesthesia/analgesia, provides post-anesthesia evaluation and keeps accurate records of anesthesia administration.

Requirements of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist/CRNA
  • Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Nebraska as an advanced practice provider
  • Current certification or re certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • At least one (1) year experience as a CRNA
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification.
  • Current NRP certification.
